In the hardest hit areas of Balochistan, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Punjab, tens of thousand of homes and livestock have perished. In Balochistan alone, millions of people urgently need humanitarian assistance, and across all regions, thousands of vulnerable people face being uprooted from their homes.
The crisis is expected to worsen as heavier downpour is on its way. This has caused a huge damage to infrastructure, roads and bridges and if reports are to be believed then it is going to get even more worse hence posing an even more severe threat to the lives of thousands of people.
Without access to urgent medical aid, food, clean water, and adequate shelter, those who have fled to higher ground will be at even more risk.
