On February 2, 2025, CPACT hosted its Annual Appreciation and Welcoming Luncheon in honor of H.E. Mohammad Saleem, High Commissioner of Pakistan to Canada. The event served as a bridge between the business, professional, and political communities, fostering stronger ties and celebrating the contributions of individuals dedicated to economic and social progress.
Canada Pakistan Affiliated Chamber of Trade held its annual AGM and appreciation lunch on Nov 26th 2023 at Chateau Kabab West Island.
It was a full house with dignitaries and invited guests. The collaboration between Toronto, Ottawa, and Montreal teams made it a resounding success. The diverse participation of dignitaries, sponsors, and volunteers emphasized the significant impact CPACT has on the community. CPACT Cultural Festival 2023 was held on August 12th, at Cégep Gérald-Godin. The event promoted cultural cohesion; diversity and inclusion. The event was attended by Montrealers in large numbers.
The festival was graced by honorable guests, Mr. Frank Baylis, Mayor Stephane Cote of Lile-Bizard-Sainte-Genevieve, Pierrefonds Mayor Jim Beis, Francis Scarpaleggia, MP of Lac-Saint-Louis, MP Sameer Zuberi for Pierrefonds—DDO, Mayor Alan Desouza of Saint-Laurent and other notable community members. In their speeches, honorable guests commended CPACT’s initiatives of showcasing cultural tapestry of South Asian heritage and initiatives to promote cultural cohesion.
CPACT celebrated the 75th National Day of Pakistan and the inaugural Diversity Walk on August 14th 2022 at Parc Eugen-Dostie, in Ile Bizard. The hosting was a grand free event in the heart of the West Island of Montreal, with over 2,000 attendees. Esteemed guests included MP Sameer Zuberi, representing the federal riding of Pierrefonds—DDO; MNA Monsef Derraji , representing the electoral district of Nelligan as a member of the Quebec Liberal Party; Stéphane Côté, Mayor of L’Île-Bizard–Sainte-Geneviève; and CONSUL GENERAL OF PAKISTAN-MONTREAL, ISHTIAQ AHMED AKIL, attended the flag hoisting ceremony, cake cutting ceremony and participated in the Diversity Walk.

Dec 14, 2019: The Annual General Meeting of CPACT was held on Saturday, 14th December 2019 at 6:30 pm in Restaurant Lordia, Laval, QC. The meeting was inaugrated with exquisite United Music night along Cpact's represented individuals, Canada and Pakistan's important electives and nonetheless recognized celebrities of the town that outshined the evening with their glorious performances. Sameer Zuberi, Member of Parliament PIERREFONDS - Dollard Quebec was invited as Guest of Honor for the evening.
On December 13th 2019, Canada Pakistan Affiliated Chamber of Trade (CPACT signed a letter of intent with McGill Oncology.
The Letter of Intent was signed between Dr. Eduardo Franco, Chairman, Department of Oncology, McGill Faculty of Medicine and Mr. Zaheer Khan, Co-Chairman of CPACT, to focus on educational mission of Cancer Research & Medical Education. Both organizations pledged to organize charitable events throughout the year to benefit the Oncology department and the affected community at large. The signing ceremony was termed as a meeting of “Hearts and Minds” between CPACT and McGill Oncology Department.
Ottawa: On Sunday, 8 December 2019, CPACT-NCR held first Annual General Meeting, which was attended by Mr. Raza Bashir Tarar, High Commissioner of Pakistan along with other Pakistani diplomats, Councillor Eli El Chantiri, Ottawa’s renowned Leadership and Career Advancement Specialist Lisa Anna Palmer, members from diverse communities and BOD and advisors from CPACT-NCR, Montreal and Toronto.
CPACT an International Trade organization of Canadians of South Asian countries, representing 40,000 co-sponsors, supporter-activists and members will host its 2nd Annual Choice Awards Gala in Montreal on 28 th September 2019 at Sheraton Montreal Airport Hotel. CPACT has made great strides in attracting business and professionals from a cross-section of groups and platforms. Our round-the-year connections promote businesses of various organizations through our enhanced web-portal linkages and connecting these groups through our text messages, seminars and business forums.
This year CPACT Choice Awards Gala will feature Glittering social and networking events for the honorable attendees and their guests for a Meet & Greet initiative, a Cocktail reception, Award presentations, sumptuous Meal and complementary Music Night.
The official launch ceremony of CPACT National Capital Region was conducted on 19th July in Ottawa, ON K2b 8J8 and was well attended by a diverse crowd. The event was huge success with exchange of ideas, motivational dialogue on the potential revolution of Pakistan trade affiliation and progress of Canadians of Pakistani descent.

CPACT is holding its Annual General Meeting 2018 on 2nd December, 2018 at 4:30 pm.
We at CPACT believe that when people are NOT involved in the process, they resist it or distant themselves from it. Annual meetings are an amazing opportunity for the organization to put forward highs and lows of the year with group discussions on how to reform and progress in the forthcoming year.
The year 2017-2018 has been a year of accomplishments and progress with a few hiccups along the way which will be discussed at the AGM.
